What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

1. Manage vendor enrollment and process AP invoices for energy storage project construction
2. Oversee 1099 processing and W9 setups
3. Lead AP financial reporting, including accounting journals, ledgers, and vendor payment terms
4. Prepare GAAP financial statements and support financial accounting audits
5. Handle sales tax and use tax AP accounting processes

What is Required (Qualifications):

1. Minimum of 5 years of accounts payable experience with GAAP principles
2. Experience managing project-based accounts payable systems related to Project Development, EPC, Construction, and Service Contracts
3. Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar financial accounting software
4. Strong vendor management skills related to accounts payable and invoice processing
5. Expertise in MS Excel, including macro/VBA writing, data queries, and pivot tables

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

1. Experience in renewable energy projects such as solar, wind, battery storage, or energy storage projects
2. Understanding of national energy power market tariffs and incentives (e.g., WECC, PJM, ERCOT, SPP, MISO, NYISO, ISO-NE, and CAISO)
