About the Role:

Join CBRE in a leadership role supporting one of ourpremier clients in the Financial Services sector. Primarily based on-site withthe client in San Francisco, CA, with periodic travel to Palo Alto (typically 1-2days per week). You will oversee facilities operations across a portfolio ofapproximately 11 Class A commercial office buildings totaling more than 700,000square feet throughout the Bay Area, ensuring exceptional service delivery andoperational excellence.

As a Sr. Regional Facilities Manager, you will serve as atrusted partner to client leadership, including senior executives based in SanFrancisco. Success in this role requires a hospitality-driven mindset and acommitment to delivering a white-glove client experience. You will build strongrelationships with key stakeholders, anticipate business needs, and ensurefacilities services consistently exceed expectations.

You will lead facilities management operations across theportfolio, driving performance in maintenance, vendor management, workplaceservices, and operational initiatives. Working closely with clientstakeholders, Property Management, and service providers, you will help createexceptional workplace environments that support business objectives andemployee satisfaction.

As part of CBRE's Facilities Management function, you willbe responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and performance of assignedassets while leading a customer-focused service model centered onresponsiveness, accountability, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidatecombines strong operational expertise with outstanding relationship-buildingskills and executive-level customer service, thriving in an environment wherehospitality and stakeholder engagement are just as important as technical execution.

What You Will Do:
  • Provide senior-level leadership to Facilities Managersand their teams, fostering employee development through coaching, training,mentoring, and performance management.
  • Travel within assigned Northern California portfolio tosupport facility operations, client engagement, team development, strategicinitiatives.
  • Leverage extensive knowledge of facilities managementoperations, business objectives, and cross-functional partnerships to driveteam and organizational success.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve complex technical,operational, and business challenges across a geographically dispersedportfolio.
  • Evaluate decisions through both a regional andorganizational lens, understanding their broader impact on business operationsand client satisfaction.
  • Continuously improve existing processes, procedures,and operational standards to enhance service delivery, efficiency, andcompliance.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for facilityoperations, maintenance programs, and capital improvement projects acrossmultiple regions.
  • Conduct site visits and facility inspections, ensuringcompliance with local, state, and federal regulations while identifyingopportunities for operational improvements and cost savings.
  • Manage and optimize operating and capital budgets,including forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and expendituretracking across multiple locations.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, servingas a trusted advisor and leading discussions related to facilities strategy,performance, and issue resolution.
  • Oversee vendor and contractor relationships,negotiating contracts and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective servicedelivery.
  • Champion environmental health and safety initiatives,promoting a culture of safety and regulatory compliance across all facilitieswithin the portfolio.
  • Lead advanced training programs focused on maintenanceoperations, repair procedures, safety protocols, and facilities management bestpractices.
  • Drive high-level problem-solving and decision-making,addressing complex organizational challenges and implementing innovativesolutions where established processes may not exist.
  • Model and promote CBRE's RISE values, positivelyinfluencing stakeholders and fostering collaboration to achieve shared businessobjectives.
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevantfacilities, operations, or property management experience. In lieu of a degree,an equivalent combination of education and professional experience will beconsidered. Prior people management experience is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent management, includingrecruiting, hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, performance management,employee development, and retention strategies.
  • Willingness and ability to travel throughout Northern Californiato support facilities operations, client meetings, site inspections, andleadership initiatives across the portfolio.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with theability to effectively communicate complex information, set clear performanceexpectations, influence stakeholders, and navigate sensitive or challengingsituations.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experiencemotivating and developing teams to achieve operational objectives and driveresults across multiple functions and business areas.
  • Ability to think strategically while balancingday-to-day operational priorities in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with theability to assess complex situations, identify solutions, and make informedbusiness decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite,including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, with the ability to analyzedata, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Solid financial acumen with experience managingbudgets, forecasts, variance reporting, and capital expenditures.
  • Strong mathematical skills, including the ability toperform financial analyses and calculate percentages, ratios, forecasts, andother business-related metrics.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships across alllevels of the organization while effectively managing client, vendor, andcontractor partnerships.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States withoutcurrent or future sponsorship requirements.

California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Sr. Regional Facilities Manager position is $165,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Sr. Regional Facilities Manager position is $175,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
