Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Radiology Technologist in California to operate diagnostic imaging equipment and produce high-quality radiographs under supervision. The role may involve contrast administration and assisting physicians during procedures.

You will coordinate patient flow, serve as a resource to staff, and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards. CA CRT and BCLS are required, with fluoroscopy within one year of hire.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of diagnostic principles and procedures as well as operation and maintenance of radiologic equipment as acquired through satisfactory completion of an accredited radiologic technology training program
  • Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Provider Course
  • Current California Radiologic Technologist Fluoroscopy required within one year of hire

Responsibilities

  • Operates conventional, fluoroscopic or portable radiology equipment to obtain radiographs of designated body areas
  • May perform or assist physicians in more complex examinations by mixing, preparing and administration of contrast media and assisting in sterile procedures
  • Serves as a resource person to other radiologic technologists and support staff in resolution of work-related problems and coordinating patient flow

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the direction of the Department Director and Clinical Coordinator and according to department policies and procedures, operates conventional, fluoroscopic or portable radiology equipment in order to obtain radiographs of designated body areas.

May perform or assist physicians in carrying out more complex examinations by mixing, preparing and administration of contrast media and assisting in sterile procedures

Serves as a resource person to other radiologic technologists and support staff in resolution of work-related problems and coordinating patient flow
