As part of our R&D Engineering team, you will work closely with our Quality and Manufacturing teams to develop the latest tools and technologies to address significant, unmet clinical needs that impact patients’ lives around the world.

How you’ll make an impact:
  1. Build complex prototypes, sub-assemblies, and prepare feasibility test units, samples, and chemical solutions. Support packaging prototypes for design feasibility and protocol testing.
  2. Assist in engineering activities such as testing, modification, fabrication, 3D printing, and assembly under minimal supervision; propose technical solutions; perform work using drawings, diagrams, and instructions.
  3. Operate lab equipment, perform setup, cleanup, troubleshooting, and identify failure modes. Collect and document test data.
  4. Develop material characterization library for the engineering group.
  5. Order and maintain lab supplies and equipment; ensure calibration and preventive maintenance.
  6. Complete first articles and dimensional inspections; perform IQ processes.
  7. Design and build fixtures using sketches, CAD; create or modify drawings and procedures.
  8. Develop and validate test methods for equipment and product designs.
  9. Support engineering activities and other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need (Required):

Associate's Degree (preferred) or equivalent in technical field and 2 years R&D Lab/medical device experience OR 4 years related experience.

What else we look for (Preferred):
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving, root cause analysis, and good documentation practices
  • Proficiency with MS Office; basic statistical analysis
  • Understanding of lab equipment and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read procedures, drawings, schematics, and perform assembly
  • Knowledge of EHS and quality guidelines for lab/clean room environments
  • Attention to detail, teamwork, professional feedback, adherence to safety and company policies

We offer competitive salaries, performance incentives, and benefits to support our employees and their families.

For California, the pay range is $52,000 to $73,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Applications are accepted while the position is posted.
