Job Summary & Scope

The Senior Quality Software Engineer develops automation frameworks for QA services to ensure delivery meets service level metrics and influences development practices throughout the lifecycle. Supports and may lead initiatives involving multiple features and applications with integrated design and architecture. Demonstrates knowledge across multiple domains, products, or services. Plans, delivers, and manages QE services.

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of test engineering or QA experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in test engineering principles
  • Practitioner of Agile and/or Lean practices
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Experience with SDLC and Agile methodologies
Accountabilities
  • Builds automated test frameworks to accelerate releases and increase coverage
  • Automates test cases to assess product readiness for production
  • Researches tools, frameworks, and methodologies; implements quality measures
  • Influences development process to embed quality
  • Reviews and approves team deliverables
  • Adopts fail-fast methodology
  • Oversees work quality of team members

  • Recommends solutions based on best practices and judgment
  • Identifies patterns and applies conceptual thinking to solve problems

Location: Primarily remote within the continental US, near a major airport. Travel may be required for conferences, meetings, and training, including to Indianapolis, Indiana.
