Sr. Quality Engineer for thyssenkrupp Crankshaft Company, LLC in Danville, Illinois.
Duties include: overseeing quality of parts produced on the line, devising corrective actions to address quality issues, and conveying information to the larger team; performing walk-through and review operations and parts disposition on lines; addressing and troubleshooting quality issues; acting as IATF internal auditor and ensuring maintenance of IATF internal auditor certification; overseeing corrective actions and conducting multidisciplinary team root cause investigations for internal problems and customer complaints; conducting MSA studies and SPC analysis, and disseminating the MSA practice and SPC concepts to other employees; preparing PPAP documentation for customers; tracking scrapped parts and entering them in SAP, devising daily scrap reports, maintaining scrap PPM, and developing innovative solutions and improvements; training other thyssenkrupp employees on PFMEA, MSA, SPC, and PPAP; developing controls for Heat Treat operations at the plants; and performing Customer Special Process audits to ensure adherence to Heat Treat Processes and CQI-9 requirements.
Requirements:
Salary Range: $79,206 - $96,300 per year.
