Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer

Summary

CommunityAmerica Federal Credit Union seeks a Sr. Quality Assurance Engineer for Lenexa, Kansas. Employment Type: Full-Time.

Duties & Responsibilities

Responsibilities: Be a key member of the CRM team, responsible for creating tests and documentation to identify issues with our Salesforce platform both before and after scheduled releases. Responsible for working with business stakeholders to define clear acceptance criteria, collaborating with our engineering team to establish and refine quality engineering processes, documenting solutions for future reference, and helping to inform and develop automated testing for our Salesforce platform at CommunityAmerica. Be a member of an Agile Test Team, working alongside other Agile development teams, Salesforce engineers, the IT Infrastructure & Operations team, and external system owners.

Software Quality Control Testing. Create tests to identify issues with CACU's Salesforce platform before and after scheduled releases. Develop and implement tests for Salesforce CRM features, including manual front end testing and using CACU's existing Selenium implementation. Test results need to be logged and organized within the Qmetry tool and issues/bugs created in our ADO tracking software for developer follow-up. Validate API integrations from CACU's EIP team (using Postman Tests and other API testing tools). Data testing to verify accuracy and completeness of feeds and queries from the data services team (SQL Management Studio, Dataloader, and OwnBackup). Work with business stakeholders to refine quality engineering processes.

QA Automation Implementation. Provide guidance to the team on implementation of QA automation tools. Create proof-of-concept implementations for testing platforms/engines, and implement initial automated regression suites. Work with the business to identify acceptance criteria and guide other QA resources in the creation of similar tests. Utilize technologies such as Copado CI/CD pipeline for Salesforce, Selenium, custom Java-based tests, and Qmetry. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance and support on projects.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related and 7 years progressive experience, which must include the following, concurrently:

• 5 years of experience developing automation tests using platforms such as Selenium, Postman, Playwright, or IBM Rational;
• Strong demonstrated proficiency in SQL and data/ETL validation patterns;
• Experience developing test scripts to implement Features, Test Scenarios, and Step Definitions within a customized test automation framework;
• Experience with enterprise-tier applications (ERP, CRM, etc.) administration and management; and
• Demonstrated skills in API integration testing, including RESTful or SOAP services and API authentication testing.
