Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Sr. Manager of Property Management in Miami to supervise a team responsible for all operational and financial activities of large portfolios. You will act as the owner representative, prepare budgets, and deliver timely reports to clients.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5–8 years of relevant experience; combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Ability to lead exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets across disciplines.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Extensive organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities; establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
  • Respond to high-profile tenant needs and issues.
  • Act as primary contact with property owners and deliver timely, accurate reports.
  • Develop and control annual budgets for large operating and capital expenses; forecast plans and prepare monthly reports.
  • Help create advanced programs for emergency recoveries.
  • Prepare and approve all required legal notices and coordinate actions as necessary.
  • Review tenant rent and CAM recovery charges to ensure timely payments.

This job is part of theProperty Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildingson behalf of a client or group.



What You’ll Do


  • Provide formalsupervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff.Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiringof new employees.

  • Coordinate and managethe team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, andcross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor andcoach as needed.

  • Respond to highprofile tenant needs and issues.

  • Act as primarycontact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure thatobjectives are being met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and completereports.

  • Develop and controlannual budgets for large operating and capital expenses. Forecast complexmanagement plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.

  • Help create advancedprograms that will assist the property with emergency recoveries.

  • Prepare and approveall required legal notices. Recommend and coordinate legal action as necessary.

  • Review tenant rentand common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure payment is on time.



What You’ll Need


  • Bachelor's Degreepreferred with 5 - 8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, acombination of experience and education will be considered.
