Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Property Management Manager to supervise a portfolio of industrial and office properties. You will oversee day-to-day operations, financials, and reporting, guiding staff and coordinating activities to meet client objectives.

Strong leadership, Yardi/MRI/Kardin proficiency, and US work authorization are required. The role emphasizes budget development, owner communication, and escalation handling, with CBRE’s RISE values guiding collaboration and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial property management.
  • Experience with Yardi, MRI, and Kardin software systems highly desired
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.

  • Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses; prepare monthly reports.
  • Lead by example and align with CBRE RISE values; engage stakeholders to reach agreements.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.

This job ispart of the Property Management job function. They are responsible foroperating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Manage the day-to-day property management for a portfolio of Industrial and Office properties
  • Prepare and/or review the annual operating expense reconciliations using Yardi, excel, and Kardin software
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Respond to escalated tenant needs and issues.
  • Act as primary contact with property owners, serving as owner representative to ensure that objectives are being met. Prepare and deliver timely, accurate and complete reports.
  • Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses. Forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.
  • Help create programs that will assist the property with emergency recoveries.
  • Prepare all required legal notices for approval.
  • Review tenant rent and common area maintenance recovery charges to ensure payment is on time.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to‑day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.
What You’ll Need
