Job summary

Fehr Graham is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead municipal engineering projects in our Rockford, IL office. You will be the primary client contact, guiding proposals, contracts and project execution while coordinating teams across disciplines.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in municipal project management, consulting experience, and holds a PM certification and professional license in their discipline. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 10+ years in municipal project management.
• Experience in the consulting industry is preferred.
• Project Management Certification is required.
• Professional license in your discipline is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
• Team-oriented with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to client contact, ensuring needs are met with precision and professionalism.
• Develop and deliver proposals, contracts and presentations.
• Oversee projects to ensure success and profitability.
• Coordinate scheduling, staffing and quality control across projects.
• Lead project teams including staff and subconsultants.
• Handle invoicing and follow up on accounts.
