Job Description

The Sr. Project Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating utility transmission and infrastructure projects from initial planning through execution and closeout. This individual will serve as the central point of accountability for assigned projects, working closely with engineering, construction, project controls, supply chain, regulatory, and operations teams to ensure project objectives are achieved safely, on schedule, and within budget. The Project Manager will oversee project planning activities, including scope development, scheduling, estimating, risk management, procurement strategies, contractor coordination, and stakeholder communications. They will facilitate project meetings, provide regular status updates to leadership, manage project risks and issues, and drive collaboration across internal and external teams to support successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will bring a strong utility or transmission background, proven project leadership experience, and the ability to navigate complex infrastructure projects in a fast-paced environment.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within electric transmission, distribution, utility infrastructure, or related energy projects
• Demonstrated experience managing project scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and safety throughout the project lifecycle
• Strong understanding of utility and transmission industry terminology, processes, and stakeholders
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including Engineering, Construction, Project Controls, Supply Chain, Operations, Regulatory, Environmental, and External Contractors
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while driving project milestones and deliverables
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills with the ability to provide project updates to leadership and key business partners
• Experience with project scheduling, cost controls, forecasting, estimating, and risk management
• Knowledge of construction management principles and project execution methodologies PMP Certification
• Experience working within large utility organizations
• Knowledge of project governance and risk ranking processes
