Job summary

Keeley Construction is seeking a Sr Project Manager for the Building Group in St. Louis, MO. You will oversee all aspects of projects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, cost reporting, and safety, while coordinating design and subcontractor activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field with at least eight years of project management experience.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, and Word preferred.
• Experience with multifamily, retail, healthcare, or educational projects.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with staff, vendors, and clients.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of assigned projects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple project teams and plan/schedule multiple projects.Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines.
• Balancetime between projects, estimating, and business development.
• Maintainpositiveworking relationships with owners, design professionals, subcontractors, and other team members. Overseeprojectengineers,assistantprojectmanagers,projectmanagers,andfield staff.Take responsibility for growing and guiding their team’s growth withintheirroles.Opinionsand adviceofthe senior project manageraresought outto overcome challengesand constructability.
• Partakes in proposal meetings to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas.
• Maintain all profit and performance responsibility on projects.Strong financial and resource management skillsto forecast project costs, subcontractor outcomes, andidentifyand rectify potential and actual risks associated with their projects.
• Manages the buyout process and theselectionof subcontractors.
• Responsible for all contracts & subcontractor/vendor roles associated with their projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of eight years of experience performing primary responsibilities listed above.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word is a plus.
• Background of technical skills and understanding of multifamily development, retail, healthcare, education, etc. projects.
• Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, vendors, and clients.
