Job summary

Keeley Construction is seeking a Senior Project Manager for our Building Group in St. Louis, MO. The role leads project teams, coordinates design and construction activities, and drives successful project execution from estimating through closeout.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field with at least eight years of experience in multifamily, retail, healthcare, or education developments. Strong leadership and client coordination are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in managing building/construction projects is required.
• Ms Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of assigned projects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate multiple project activities to meet deadlines; manage multiple project teams.
• Balance time between projects, estimating, and business development.
• Maintain positive relationships with owners, design professionals, subcontractors and team members; oversee project engineers and managers.
• Participate in proposal meetings to review scope, reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas.
• Forecast project costs and risks; maintain profit and performance responsibility for projects.
• Manage the buyout process and selection of subcontractors.
• Handle contracts and subcontractor/vendor relationships for projects.

Primary Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of assigned projects including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation.
• Ability to manage multiple project teams and plan/schedule multiple projects.Plan, schedule, and coordinate project activities to meet deadlines.
• Balancetime between projects, estimating, and business development.
• Maintainpositiveworking relationships with owners, design professionals, subcontractors, and other team members. Overseeprojectengineers,assistantprojectmanagers,projectmanagers,andfield staff.Take responsibility for growing and guiding their team's growth withintheirroles.Opinionsand adviceofthe senior project manager's advicearesought outto overcome challengesand constructability.
• Partakes in proposal meetings to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas.
• Maintain all profit and performance responsibility on projects.Strong financial and resource management skillsto forecast project costs, subcontractor outcomes, andidentifyand rectify potential and actual risks associated with their projects.
• Manages the buyout process and theselectionof subcontractors.
• Responsible for all contracts & subcontractor/vendor roles associated with their projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus a minimum of eight years of experience performing primary responsibilities listed above.
• Proficient with Outlook, Excel and Word is a plus.
• Background of technical skills and understanding of multifamily development, retail, healthcare, education, etc. projects.
• Ability to build and maintain a positive working relationship with staff, vendors, and clients.
