Description

CSSI, a leading provider of transportation and mobility solutions to government and commercial clients, is seeking a talented Sr. Project Manager to support an upcoming contract with the FAA. Seeking qualified professionals to support Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aviation Safety (AVS) programs through program management, coordination, and mission execution activities overseeing technical, administrative, and operational efforts across the National Airspace System (NAS). This role supports high-impact aviation safety initiatives, modernization efforts, and emerging technologies shaping the future of the National Airspace System (NAS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and interface with FAA program authorities and stakeholders
  • Plan, organize, and direct execution of assigned task orders or project activities to meet technical, schedule, and performance requirements
  • Oversee project operations, including technical, administrative, and support functions, ensuring effective delivery of program objectives
  • Manage cost, schedule, and performance, including monitoring progress and preparing status reports for Government stakeholders
  • Manage financial, contractual, and administrative aspects of projects in accordance with contract requirements
  • Coordinate staffing, onboarding/offboarding, security, and resource management activities for assigned personnel
  • Collaborate with program teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure effective program execution and communication
Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in a related field and eight years of performance-based management and supervisory experience in each of the foregoing functions with respect to technical programs/projects
  • Master’s degree may be waived with a bachelor’s degree in a related field and fifteen years of program management on a delivery order contract with advanced national and international technical requirements as related experience
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent project or program management certification is required and must have 5 years of experience
  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident (minimum 3+ years of U.S. residency) and Public Trust approval
  • Applied experience managing technical or aviation-related programs, including cost, schedule, and performance oversight
  • Experience working with FAA Headquarters and engaging senior Government stakeholders
  • Familiarity with FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), program execution, and contract performance management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and support executive-level reporting and communication
