The role focuses on collaborating with FAA offices, delivering environmental evaluations, and ensuring regulatory documentation, NEPA alignment, and mission execution in NAS modernization projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and six years of experience performing the duties above.
• Bachelor’s degree may be waived with ten years of experience in performing the above duties.
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card Permanent Resident (minimum3+ years of U.S. residency) and Public Trust approval.
• Applied experience in environmental analysis related to aviation operations, airspace, or infrastructure impacts.
• Experience working with FAA Headquarters and supporting cross-organizational collaboration and executive-level communications.
• Familiarity with environmental compliance processes, including NEPA or related assessment frameworks.
• Experience evaluating environmental impacts of aviation activities and supporting environmental or regulatory documentation.

Seeking qualified professionals to support Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Aviation Safety (AVS) programs through environmental analysis, compliance, and mission execution activities evaluating the impacts of aviation operations and airspace changes across the National Airspace System (NAS). This role supports high-impact aviation safety initiatives, modernization efforts, and emerging technologies shaping the future of the National Airspace System (NAS).
