Job summary

TriCom Technical Services, Inc. in Kansas City, Missouri, seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead multiple projects within the EPMO for the Banking industry.

You will work with project teams and stakeholders to define scope, deliverables, and outcomes, and plan, monitor, and adjust schedules across the SDLC. The ideal candidate has 8+ years of PM experience, proficiency in both Waterfall and Agile methods, and experience with a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool.

• 8+ years of project management experience with governance across projects.
• Must be goal-oriented, action-focused, pragmatic and self-disciplined.
• Advanced planning, organizing, team motivation and delegation skills.
• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
• Proficient with a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool.

Job description

• Plan, monitor, adjust, and communicate each project’s schedule.
• Identify constraints and risks, then coordinate the resolution of complex issues.
• Track, measure, and report on project status and progress.
• Coordinate with IT resource managers and implementation partners to ensure each project has proper staffing during each phase/sprint of the SDLC.
• Ensure project methodology, standards, processes, and procedures are followed throughout the life of the project.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Project Management experience, ensuring project methodology, standards, processes, and procedures are followed throughout the life of a project.
• Demonstrated ability to remain goal-oriented and action-focused, pragmatic, and self-disciplined.
• Advanced proficiency in project planning, organizing, team motivation, and delegation.
• Waterfall and Agile project experience.
• Proficiency with a Project Portfolio Management (PPM) tool.

Preferred

• Experience managing projects migrating applications to the cloud.
• PMP certification.
• Banking industry experience.
