Role Overview

Our growing office is seeking a motivated individual to lead staff for in-service bridge inspections, load rating analyses, and various structural evaluations in Pennsylvania and HNTB's Mid-Atlantic Division. The ideal candidate will be excited to grow client relationships, increase their own knowledge, and mentor a top-caliber team—all while maintaining work/life balance. Responsibilities

• Lead and perform field inspections for highway and railroad bridges, developing inspection reports based on findings.
• Perform structural analysis, load ratings, and develop design/repair plans and estimates.
• Oversee junior staff work and communicate effectively with internal and external colleagues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 8 years of relevant experience, or
• Master’s degree with 7 years, or
• PhD with 6 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Bridge inspection experience with agencies like PennDOT, PTC, SEPTA, AMTRAK, or DRPA.
• Completion of FHWA-NHI's NSTM Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges Course.
• Knowledge of analysis, design, and load rating software.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
