Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer in Las Vegas, NV, on-site, to design wood, steel, and concrete structures and ensure code compliance in collaboration with architects and contractors.

This role requires strong BIM skills (AutoCAD, Revit), site inspections, and thorough reporting. PE license nearing completion is preferred; relocation and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with a PE license or nearing completion.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit for BIM.
• Experience in design, evaluation, and inspection of wood, steel, and concrete structures.
• Excellent communication with architects, contractors, and team members.
• Ability to perform thorough site visits and write inspection reports.

Job Details

• Design wood, steel, and concrete structures adhering to project specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Review project submittals for accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate effectively with project architects and contractors to ensure seamless collaboration and project execution.
• Perform site visits to inspect buildings and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with design and safety standards.
• Create detailed reports for inspections, highlighting findings and recommendations.
• Review and provide feedback on drawings prepared by drafters, ensuring all designs meet project requirements and standards.
• Adapt to various tasks and responsibilities as needed to support project completion and team success.

Requirements/Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a PE license or nearing its completion.
• Strong proficiency in utilizing AutoCAD and Revit to maximize the Building Information Modeling (BIM) experience.
• Demonstrated experience in the design, evaluation, and inspection of wood, steel, and concrete structures.
