Job summary

Branch Civil is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to oversee all engineering and technical aspects of our projects. You will report to the Project Manager and help with safety, documentation, plans and specifications, construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, projections, and project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Measure, report and forecast accurate cost and revenue dollars and quantities.
• Fully review contract documents, drawings and specifications.
• Assist PM in defining project budget and cost codes.
• Prepare Initial Budget Adjustments for PM review before work starts.
• Ensure the acquisition of permits through appropriate channels as required.
• Maintain and update RFI Log, Change Order Log, and Submittal Log.
• Maintain and update the Materials Book – C25s/Certs/Etc.
• Support quality control and ensure approved materials are used.
• Draft and submit Change Orders per PM approval.
• Draft and submit RFIs per PM approval.
• First level approval of subcontractor invoices for PM final approval.

Education

Branch Civil is searching for a highly skilled, team-oriented Senior Project Engineer to join our well-established, growing company. The Senior Project Engineer oversees all engineering and technical aspects of the project, with a strong emphasis on organizing and planning, to assure the highest level of accuracy and quality. This position reports directly to the Project Manager and provides support in project safety, documentation, plans and specifications, construction means and methods, scheduling, budgeting, projections, and project closeout.

• Assist Pre-Construction Services/Project Manager(PM) in defining project budget and cost codes
• Prepare Initial Budget Adjustments for PM review prior to start of work

• Maintain and update RFI Log, Change Order Log, and Submittal Log
• Maintain and update the Materials Book – C25s/Certs/Etc.

Required Qualifications

Compensation Data

Salary Min: $72,754.50

Salary Max: $124,695

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors.
