Sr Project Engineer

We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Cincinnati, Ohio team!

Project Engineers at the Curtiss-Wright Nuclear Division QualTech NP Cincinnati location are responsible for the performance of complex, highly technical projects in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures, and guidelines. As a Project Engineer, you will play a vital role within the assigned business segment supporting customer deliverables. You will participate on teams and provide guidance to less experienced engineers and technical staff. You will be responsible for executing projects in conformance with customer specifications and industry standards. This position requires interaction with customers, suppliers, operations, quality assurance, sales, and finance to support both domestic and international products and services.

Your Challenge:

  1. Review and understand customer purchase orders, technical specifications, and quality assurance requirements; translate into design, procurement, qualification, and testing documents.
  2. Develop test programs to ensure compliance with requirements and standards; determine design approaches for testing and qualification; mitigate potential failure modes.
  3. Design and conduct tests, collect data, interpret results, and document analysis; make engineering decisions and write reports.
  4. Provide technical input for proposals.
  5. Coordinate with sales, procurement, engineering, testing, and quality assurance teams.
  6. Work efficiently towards goals in a complex environment with multiple constraints.
  7. Address and resolve project issues related to scope, technical requirements, quality, schedule, resources, costs, and customer interface.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
  • Four to six years of related experience
  • Strong organization, communication, and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of engineering processes in a regulated industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
