DZMC, Day & Zimmermann Maintenance and Construction, seeks a Sr. Project Controls Manager to lead controls on advanced class greenfield projects in the US.

You will supervise a team, guide technical direction, and coordinate baselines for estimates, schedules and costs while ensuring quality controls and training for new hires. This role requires strong leadership, extensive project controls experience, and proficiency in EV reporting, SAP, Primavera P6, and Power BI within a large construction

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred with strong project controls background.
• Ten plus years of experience in related project controls assignments.
• PMI-PMP certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and guidance for Project Controls personnel and assist with troubleshooting project controls issues.
• Support project proposals
• Participate and conduct internal/external monthly project reviews
• Initiate/develop project control baselines(estimate/schedule/cost) and provide training on project control tools for new hires
• Coordinate placement of project control personnel
• Develop and maintain site specific project controls procedures as required

We're looking for Sr. Project Controls Manager, Projects to join our Day & Zimmermann Projects teams on advanced class greenfield construction projects in the US.

This position has supervisory/lead or manager responsibility over a group of project controls personnel or functions as a technical specialist who develops advanced concepts. Individuals with supervisory/lead or manager responsibility provide technical direction over a group and may be responsible for employee performance appraisals.

• Knowledge of general project controls functions (including Earned Value Reporting) and the ability to plan, organize, budget, and monitor progress on firm fixed price projects


• Good computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI.


• SAP R/3, and Primavera P6 knowledge is a plus.

• Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education


• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $119,000 - $176,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
