Job summary

Day & Zimmermann Projects in Clarksburg, West Virginia, is seeking a Project Controls Manager to join our on-site team for a two-year combined cycle project.

You will coordinate reporting, interface with clients and VP-level leadership, and lead periodic audits to ensure contractual and procedural compliance, including travel.

Strong Earned Value skills, proficiency with Word/Excel/Power BI, and knowledge of SAP R/3 and Primavera P6 are needed; PMI PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Detail oriented with high level of accuracy and organizational skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of Earned Value reporting and project controls functions.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power BI; SAP R/3 and Primavera P6 preferred.
• Ten+ years experience in project controls; PMP a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist with troubleshooting field project controls issues. Also, coordinate support of the reporting process.
• Interface with clients and Business Unit VP's to ensure the required deliverables are being met, including monthly/period reports and project reviews.
• Participate in Project Support Team activities & Periodic audits of processes to ensure Contractual and Day & Zimmermann Procedural compliance. Travel.
• Coordinate all interface report out meetings between our client and field sites.
• Coordinate start up of new field sites and demobilization of same when complete. This activity will include Field Assignments.
• Coordinate placement of field personnel.

Project Controls Manager – Day & Zimmermann Projects

We're looking for a Project Controls Manager to join our Day & Zimmermann Projects team on site at our combined cycle project in Clarksburg, West Virginia.

Anticipated project duration: 2 years.

• Effective verbal and written communication skills and must possess the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks concurrently.


• Knowledge of general project controls functions (including Earned Value Reporting) and the ability to plan, organize, budget, and monitor progress on firm fixed price projects.


• Good computer skills and proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power BI.


• SAP R/3, and Primavera P6 knowledge is a plus.

What You Will Be Doing:

What You Need To Bring To The Table:

• Some college or post secondary education preferred.


• Ten plus years experience in related project controls assignments.


• Computer proficiency certifications a plus or equivalent education.


• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification a plus.

In compliance with this state's pay transparency laws, the salary range for this role is $119,000 - $176,800. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. (The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of union fringes).
