About Solar For All Capital Good Fund has been awarded a $156 million Solar for All (SFA) grant under the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)’s Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund to bring the benefits of solar to thousands of low-income and disadvantaged Georgians over the next five years. This position is contingent upon contract award and grant funding . Sr. Progress Reporting Manager - Position Overview: Reporting to the VP of Development, the Sr. Progress Reporting Manager is a leadership role focused on Semi-Annual Progress reporting as required by the EPA. This position manages the comprehensive collection, validation, and submission of semi-annual progress reporting. Additionally, this position will support subrecipient risk assessments, monitoring, and reporting. This position ensures effective collection, analysis, and reporting of subrecipient activities, community engagement metrics, and program performance indicators to demonstrate impact and compliance with EPA requirements. The role requires the development of specialized reporting systems to track outreach efforts to disadvantaged communities, monitor subrecipient performance, and document achievement of key program milestones. This position plays a critical role in demonstrating the program's success in reaching intended beneficiaries and achieving equitable outcomes. Major Responsibilities The Sr. Progress Reporting Manager 1 will work closely with internal teams, EPA staff, and other external stakeholders to oversee the reporting life-cycle including Semi-Annual and as needed qualitative reporting to ensure the overall success of Good Fund's SFA award, including providing: Strategic Report Oversight: Develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the qualitative reporting requirements for SFA; ensuring and informing relevant stakeholders as information, templates, or deadlines are updated. Ensure all information and data collected is compiled, documented, analyzed, and reported in a results-based and timely manner per EPA guidelines and templates. Initiating, designing, implementing, monitoring, and adjusting reporting workflow processes and procedures internally and externally. Oversee the preparation and submission of comprehensive qualitative reports to the EPA related to our SFA award, with particular focus on subrecipient activities, outreach and engagement metrics, and program milestone achievement. Subrecipient Risk Assessment, Monitoring & Reporting: Work with the Compliance Manager, Legal, and others to conduct subrecipient risk assessments and structure subaward contracts accordingly Design and implement comprehensive reporting systems for tracking subrecipient activities and Semi-Annual outcomes. Coordinate with subrecipients to ensure the timely submission of required data and documentation for EPA reporting. Analyze subrecipient performance data to identify trends, successes, and areas needing improvement. Compile subrecipient information into comprehensive reports demonstrating overall program impact and reach. Outreach & Engagement Reporting: Develop metrics and tracking systems for community outreach and engagement activities across the program. Create standardized methods for documenting and quantifying engagement with disadvantaged communities and low-income households. Prepare detailed reports highlighting outreach strategies, participation rates, and demographic information of program beneficiaries. Track and analyze feedback from community engagement to improve program delivery. Program Milestone Tracking: Establish systems to monitor progress toward key program milestones and deliverables. Work with program teams to document achievement of contractual obligations and performance metrics. Create visual dashboards and reporting tools to communicate milestone progress to internal and external stakeholders. Identify potential delays or challenges in meeting program targets and recommend corrective actions. Stakeholder Communication: Organize, participate, and lead ongoing grant reporting review meetings and provide advisory assistance to program staff and external stakeholders as needed. Attends, participates, and communicates all necessary internal and external reporting-related meetings sharing information internally, externally, and across teams as needed. Provide regular updates to senior leadership on the status of reporting activities, performance outcomes, and grant deliverables. Continuous Improvement: Continuously monitors and evaluates current reporting practices to identify opportunities for process improvement and streamline processes. Implement best practices for reporting and compliance to enhance the efficiency of grant management.
Required Qualifications Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS), Grants Professional Certification (GPC), Project Management Professional (PMP), or other grants/reporting management certifications are strongly preferred. Must be able to juggle competing priorities, meet demanding deadlines, and work under pressure to ensure accurate and timely reporting submissions to the EPA. Must have experience using Salesforce, Monday.com, or related CRM platforms/software. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently, with excellent interpersonal, cultural, and diplomatic skills. Ability to effectively present information (both written and verbal) and respond appropriately to questions, inquiries, and supplemental reporting requests. Demonstrated analytical, motivational, communication, project conceptualization, and planning skills. Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to lead and coordinate processes across several departments. 5+ years of successful federal grant management experience is required. At least 1 year of experience directly leading/managing a federal grants management project, including a comprehensive understanding of the Uniform Guidance, Title 2 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Section 200, and post-award grant management activities and compliance requirements. Experience with subrecipient monitoring, community outreach programs, and milestone tracking preferred. Training, and Compensation The Sr. Progress Reporting Manager will receive extensive training on all of Capital Good Fund products, processes, customer relationship management software, workflow expectations, customer service best practices, and all that is needed to succeed in the Sr. Reporting Manager role. This is a full-time forty-hour-per-week position. The Sr. Progress Reporting Manager will earn an annual salary of $100,000-$110,000 commensurate with experience. Any offer of employment is contingent upon completion of a background check. Physical Requirements Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
