Our SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting team is seeking an SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting Manager to assist with external financial reporting for SailPoint, Inc. In this role, reporting to the Head of SEC Reporting and Technical Accounting, you will be responsible for preparing SEC filings and supporting technical accounting matters and complex transactions. The ideal candidate is proactive, collaborative, driven, with a strong work ethic, and passionate about streamlining and improving processes as we grow. This position offers high visibility within the organization and provides hands-on experience across various departments.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare SEC reporting documents (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K), press releases, and investor presentations.
  • Create footnote support schedules, tie-out support for SEC filings, and disclosure checklists.
  • Manage SEC reporting documents using our Workiva platform.
  • Research technical accounting and disclosure topics, and prepare internal memorandums.
  • Collaborate with legal to ensure SEC compliance.
  • Support the Investor Relations team during earnings releases.
  • Maintain and improve processes and controls over financial reporting.
  • Update and maintain global accounting policies.
  • Participate in monthly/quarterly financial close reviews to ensure accurate accounting and reporting.
  • Engage in special projects and ad hoc requests as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
  • CPA certification and public accounting experience required.
  • Big 4 accounting firm experience preferred.
  • 7-10 years of accounting experience, with SEC reporting at a public company preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Experience in the software industry is a plus.
  • Ability to work closely with management.
  • Commitment to meeting reporting and audit deadlines.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, including managing large-scale initiatives.
