Job summary

Honeywell in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Sr Program Specialist to serve as the operational backbone for building technology projects including Building Management Systems, HVAC Controls, Security, CCTV, and Life Safety Systems.

You will report to the Sr Program Manager and work from the Morrisville, NC location on a Hybrid schedule. The role emphasizes estimation, budgeting, contract review, and cost controls to streamline processes and drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in program or project management in building automation systems, data centers, or construction.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
• Experience in managing cross-functional teams and projects.
• PMP certifications or state level licenses are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Managing project charters, risk plans, schedules, and financial targets for successful delivery.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams on scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Review contracts and estimates to ensure compliance and accuracy.
• Monitor program performance, budgeting, and cost controls, providing regular updates to stakeholders, including executive leadership.
• Financial forecasting, working capital control, and delivering the committed P&L.

Job Description

As a Sr Program Specialist here at Honeywell, you'll be the operational backbone for building technology projects, including Building Management Systems, HVAC Controls, Security, CCTV, and Life Safety Systems. You'll expertly navigate the complete project lifecycle, from initial pre-sales and development through delivery and close-out for our ongoing customer and product support initiatives.

You will report directly to our Sr Program Manager and you'll work out of our Morrisville, NC location on a Hybrid work schedule.
