Uber is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager for the FRM Compliance Tech team to drive multi-year initiatives that transform manual compliance work into automated, AI-assisted workflows.
You will coordinate across Engineering, Data/AI, Compliance, and Finance to define roadmaps, manage dependencies, and deliver scalable, auditable controls. The role emphasizes data-driven decisions and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving environment.
Leading in a high-growth environment means setting direction in motion, not waiting for perfect conditions. As a Senior Technical Program Manager in Uber's Financial Risk Management (FRM) Compliance Tech team, you will drive structure and coordination for large-scale, complex technology initiatives that modernize how Uber runs its most critical compliance and financial-risk programs — from controls automation and GRC tooling to the data and AI systems that power real-time risk intelligence. This role is about navigating the reality of transforming manual, judgment-heavy compliance work into automated, data-driven, AI-assisted workflows while the business moves at high velocity.
You will be a strategic operator and cross-functional influencer, owning the end-to-end lifecycle of technical programs that span Engineering, Data/AI, Compliance and Finance partners. You will make data-driven decisions on prioritization, manage complex dependencies across teams and delivery partners, and directly impact the cost, quality, and auditability of Uber's control environment. We are looking for a professional who can solve architectural and process puzzles and elevate technical program management standards across a lean, high-leverage, globally distributed team.
This isn't the kind of place where you follow a playbook — it's where you help write one. If you're driven by impact, energized by challenge, and ready to shape how the world moves — we'd love to hear from you.
