Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Program Manager to own and execute strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects for the Same Day ROOT team. The role requires deep knowledge of under-the-roof fulfillment operations, inventory flows, and labor capacity within fulfillment centers.

You will scope large projects, communicate status and risks to senior leadership, and coordinate multiple stakeholders to launch new processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience.
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
• Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.

R2L is looking for a Senior Program Manager with a strong delivery record and proven project management experience. Your focused will be owning and executing strategic, cross-functional operations and technology projects for the Same Day ROOT team. This role requires robust understanding of under-the-roof fulfillment operations including inventory flows, constrained fulfillment center assets (capacity and labor) and fulfillment technologies. You will play a critical role in scoping large projects, communicating to senior leadership on status, risks and process/product changes. Cross-functional team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.

Key job responsibilities

• Define a strategic framework for under-the-roof operations, including driving innovation that improves the under-the-roof processes and continuously removes cost from our fulfillment and delivery network
• Thinking creatively about how technology can enable a better cost structure, lower overhead, and better engagement.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
• Knowledge of general AI tools
• Experience designing, implementing, and scaling upskilling, apprenticeship, or workforce development programs across large-scale operations or corporate environments, including forecasting workforce needs and leveraging analytics to drive program decisions

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
