Curtiss-Wright Corporation in East Farmingdale, NY is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead the Defense Valves Program. You will oversee a cross-functional team, manage budgets, and drive profitability for the business unit’s largest customer.

You will own 20% of the annual P&L, report financials to senior management, support bids, and coordinate schedule, risk, and procurement efforts to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Five years of program management experience in defense/engineering.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Report potential problems to upper management.* Apprise senior management of all concerns noted in the course of performing daily activities.**What You Bring*** US citizen and able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance* Five (5) years’ experience in Program Management and familiarity with Technical/Engineering specifications and procedures.* Excellent communication and writing skills.* Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage detailed program budgets* Familiarity with Earned Value Management Systems and Risk Management* Strong financial acumen and experience reporting financials to senior management* Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures for a high complexity product line* Prior engineering/operations experience with current experience in program management* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions* Strong customer relationship experience* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse internal and external audiences* Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is a plus* P/C computer skills, with excellence in MS Office including MS Project.
