Job summary

We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager in Dayton, OH.

Summary

The Air Force Research Laboratory Air Warfare Directorate (AFRL/RA) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to acquire and support war-enabling capabilities – professionally and affordably. To meet current and projected workload requirements in support of AFRL/RA, the Government must supplement its organic (military and civil service) capabilities with Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the execution of technical projects within the approved Acquisition Program Baseline (APB).
  • Build and maintain a resource-loaded Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) in MS Project, integrating it with the program Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and updating monthly.
  • Evaluate program health metrics (Cost/Schedule variance) and report status during Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
  • Execute a risk management plan (IAW the DoD RIO Guide), providing documented mitigation strategies for 'High' or 'Moderate' risks within five (5) business days of identification.
  • Develop and manage critical acquisition documentation for both existing and future research portfolios. Deliverables include APBs, monthly/quarterly reports, milestone decision briefings, RFP inputs (SOWs, CDRLs), source selection strategies, and ESIS data analysis.
  • ·Draft source selection strategies and evaluation criteria for Government review and approval. All documents shall be delivered by the established suspense date (defaulting to (10) business days if unspecified) and shall require no more than two (2) returns for rework regarding technical accuracy, statutory compliance, or financial estimates.
  • Populate, maintain, and perform assessments within a program execution framework developed in a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) environment.
  • Generate and maintain SysML models within the Magic Cameo environment and shall keep the model's data current, reflecting program status and milestone updates within five business days of the conclusion of a
  • Technical Review or receipt of a government-approved change notice.
  • Manage all program communications and task management.
  • Prepare and deliver briefings for senior management. All internal and external suspense tasks shall be managed and tracked using the designated government enterprise tracking system (e.g. Teams, SMT or designated SharePoint site), ensuring that 100% of assigned taskers are responded to by the required deadline.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of DoD cost/schedule management experience, an active PMP certification, and 5 years of Special Access Program (SAP) experience.
  • DAWIA Advanced/Level III Program Management certification must be obtained within 24 months
  • Occasional travel to GSUs may be required.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret Clearance - Required
