As a Sr. Product Marketing Manager driving Go To Markets (GTM), you will be a core member of the Amazon Music's Global Product Marketing and GTM team. You will be responsible for GTM strategy and execution for Amazon Music's mobile and voice product experiences, including Prime Music and Amazon Music Unlimited. We are seeking a seasoned product marketer who is creative, strategic, and has a core understanding of the optimal customer mobile app experience. You will be working cross-functionally with product managers to set the product roadmap to develop and launch new product features that surprise, delight, and engage our customers. You will also work with other marketing teams (social, brand, paid marketing channels, promotions, etc.) to develop global GTM strategies that drive feature awareness, adoption, and retention across all devices.
This role is highly visible and a successful candidate must be comfortable with ambiguity, earning trust with cross-functional teams and leaders, influencing up and across, and juggling multiple priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The candidate must be a great oral and written communicator and possess high levels of creativity, independence, backbone, flexibility, and attention to detail. This role will be a global role, but will work with regional marketing and product teams to adapt global GTM strategies for local customers and to adhere to local regulations.
This ideal candidate will have product marketing, consulting, or program management skills.
Key job responsibilities
- 8+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience leading go-to-market for consumer software or hardware product launches
- Experience collaborating across UX and product on customer flows and copy
- Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting
- Familiarity with engagement marketing performance KPIs and understanding of how to interpret KPIs to inform future strategy
- Experience within the media/entertainment industry and/or a subscription business
