In a typical week, you might start your morning reviewing factory build reports and quality data from a manufacturing partner in Asia, then pivot to a design review with mechanical and electrical engineers on a next-generation accessory. By mid-day, you’re leading a roadmap prioritization discussion with your engineering and supply chain counterparts, making trade‑off decisions between cost, schedule, and feature scope for an upcoming router revision. In the afternoon, you might draft a PRFAQ for a new indoor device, respond to field feedback from an enterprise installation team, or work with regulatory to clear a certification blocker in a new market. You’ll close out the day preparing a WBR deck or writing a requirements document that translates what you learned from customers into crisp engineering specifications. No two days are the same — the role blends deep technical problem‑solving, strategic portfolio thinking, and hands‑on execution across a diverse set of products and customer segments.
