About WEX & the Role
WEX is a leading provider of payment and technology solutions, helping businesses simplify operations and unlock growth. As part of our mission to go beyond fuel payments and serve the evolving needs of over-the-road (OTR) fleets, we're seeking a Senior Product Manager - Beyond Payments (Ancillary Services) to lead the expansion of value-added offerings that enhance customer loyalty, improve operational efficiency, and drive new revenue.
This role is focused on elevating our portfolio of ancillary products-including Factoring, Fuel Tax Reporting, Permits, EDGE Tire, and Fuel Management-while exploring new offerings such as insurance, carbon emission reporting, earned wage access, and other complementary services.
This is a strategic individual contributor role with high visibility and cross-functional responsibility. You'll work closely with engineering, legal, operations, sales, and partner teams to define and execute product strategies that extend the value WEX provides to OTR customers.
What You'll Do
Own the product vision and roadmap for a portfolio of ancillary services, aligning with WEX's broader OTR strategy and customer needs.
Enhance and scale existing offerings, including Factoring, Permits, Fuel Tax, EDGE Tire, and other value-added services.
Lead discovery and validation efforts for net-new opportunities like insurance, ESG-related solutions, and financial wellness tools.
Evaluate build, partner, or buy opportunities, working with business development, legal, and finance teams to assess feasibility and ROI.
Define and track KPIs to measure adoption, engagement, customer impact, and revenue growth across the ancillary portfolio.
Partner with marketing and sales to develop GTM strategies and support commercial success.
Serve as a subject matter expert and thought leader for ancillary services across the OTR ecosystem.
5-7+ years of product management experience, ideally in fintech, mobility, logistics, compliance, or B2B SaaS.
Experience owning a portfolio or launching new offerings in an emerging or adjacent space to core business lines.
Proven success with customer discovery, market validation, and go-to-market execution.
Strong business acumen and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate new opportunities from a strategic and financial lens.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence without direct authority.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to advocate for your product vision with stakeholders at all levels.
Experience in the OTR, transportation, or fleet services industry is highly preferred.
Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree is a plus.
This role is critical to WEX's long-term growth in the OTR space. By expanding and optimizing the services that go beyond core payments, you'll help WEX strengthen its customer relationships, open new revenue streams, and create differentiated value in a competitive market
