Job Summary:
Belden is seeking a Sr. Product Line Manager to lead development and launch of our OpenPath solution for Passive Optical Networks (PON). This position will be responsible for strategic product management and market launch in all regions. The OpenPath product line consists of the hardware (Optical Line Terminals (OLTs), Optical Network Terminals (ONTs), optical transceivers, and network management software (NMS) associated with the solution.
The position reports to the VP, Global Solutions and may be remote with travel to Rochester, NY, global Belden locations, and other global locations as required.

What you bring:
Education: Bachelors degree in engineering, marketing or field relevant to the primary functions of the role; Masters degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum five (5) years of B2B product/portfolio management experience with cable and telco service providers, combined with three (3) years of experience in active equipment and software required to support passive optical networks; Proven experience overseeing and driving product development and new product launches; Distribution and direct selling model and experience in the overall commercial works of sales.
Knowledge & Skills: Pricing and capital budgeting, inventory turns, SIOP (Sales Inventory Operations Planning) experience, sales budgeting and sales plan development, and experience building a value story.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $120,000 to $160,000, plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant’s experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
