Job summary

ZincFive is seeking a Sr. Product Manager for Battery Cabinet Solutions to own the commercial lifecycle of UPS cabinet products for hyperscale, colocation, AI/HPC markets.

You will drive the roadmap from concept to end-of-life, partner with sales and engineering, and ensure competitive offerings across global markets. The role may be remote from home or based at ZincFive headquarters in Tualatin, Oregon, with travel up to 10–20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, power electronics, electrochemistry, or equivalent experience
• 5-7+ years experience in market research, product definition, and competitive advantages
• 5-7+ years experience in battery and DC systems for data centers and critical power markets
• Experience with UPS and power electronics in product management
• Experience with battery chemistries (VRLA, Li-ion, NiZn) and their UPS applications
• Experience writing product specs and MRDs

Responsibilities

• Conduct market research and competitive analyses; translate customer voice into MRDs
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps with stakeholders
• Analyze needs and evolving UPS architectures for future direction
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, engineering, and customers to translate opportunities into MRDs
• Ensure product requirements are understood and approved before execution
• Support program management to ensure on-time milestones and avoid scope creep
• Coordinate with sales, marketing, engineering on UPS battery cabinet solutions and integration
• Develop and maintain sales tools, training material, and marketing collateral
• Create and execute new product launches and promotions with stakeholders
• Act as product evangelist at conferences and industry events
• Support digital marketing and PR from a technical perspective
• Develop pricing, collateral content, and business cases for product lines
