Job summary

ZincFive seeks a Director of Product Line Engineering to provide technical and lifecycle leadership for our battery-based power solutions. This full-time, onsite role in Tualatin, OR reports to the VP of Engineering and drives cross-functional initiatives to improve performance, reliability, and cost.

The role leads a team of engineers, governs ECO/ECN and product lifecycle, and partners with engineering, operations, service, and supply chain to align strategy with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Leads cross-functional alignment on product improvements, cost reduction initiatives, upgrade pathways, and end-of-life strategies.
• Lead, develop and manage a team of electrical and chemical engineers.
• Oversees engineering change governance and ECN processes with compliance to standards.
• Drives lifecycle management for released products, including roadmaps and field upgrades.
• Acts as primary technical liaison for field ops, service teams, and stakeholders.
