Job Summary

Under the direction of the assigned Product Practice Lead or designee, the Senior Product Developer is responsible for managing the process of developing our product and enhancing existing products to meet business channel customer expectations effectively. This role involves researching, developing necessary data assets, and supervising the design process.

DUTIES
  1. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to understand client needs.
  2. Conduct research into product needs, including analytical frameworks, models, and exhibits.
  3. Report research, metrics, and results clearly through reports or dashboards for stakeholders.
  4. Perform data analysis with rigor to ensure high data quality.
  5. Create prototypes and pilots for various product needs.
  6. Assist with product strategy and roadmaps.
  7. Work with product teams to define user requirements and develop prototypes.
  8. Conduct market and competitor research to inform product development.
  9. Track progress and document goals.
  10. Analyze multiple alternatives to improve outcomes.
  11. Pass background checks and comply with HIPAA and Security regulations, maintaining HIPAA Awareness and Security Certification.
  12. Be available to work during standard business hours.
  13. Potentially travel occasionally based on client needs.
  14. Collaborate across disciplines and departments.
  15. Ensure HIPAA compliance and demonstrate core company values.
  16. Note: Due to exposure to PHI, this role is considered high risk.
JOB SCOPE

This role requires strong communication with cross-functional teams, leveraging healthcare data analytics and technical expertise to develop new products, meet deadlines, and adhere to HIPAA and security protocols.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Math, CS, IT, or related; MS or MBA preferred.
  • At least 7 years’ experience in software/web product development, data science, or similar roles with successful data-driven solutions.
  • Extensive experience with health insurance products and data.
  • Strong skills in Python and SQL.
  • Proactive, ownership-driven, strategic and tactical execution capabilities.
  • Curious, analytical, detail-oriented, innovative.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize.
  • Preferred: Experience with virtualization, Tableau, AWS, Jira, Agile methodologies.
  • Interest in technological advances and integrating new tech.
  • Effective team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Compensation

Salary: $120-130K, based on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. Includes health insurance, 401k, and bonus.
