The Mid-Level Product Owner / Analytics Dev plays a vital role in supporting the overall company strategy through the development and prioritization of data analytics initiatives. This role focuses on defining and driving analytics requirements that directly contribute to strategic decision-making and ensuring that analytics projects are aligned with overarching business objectives.

- Define and prioritize analytics requirements supporting the company's goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify analytics solutions for business questions
- Translate stakeholder needs into actionable requirements for the analytics team
- Ensure alignment of analytics projects with the company's strategic direction
- Support the development and implementation of analytics solutions
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented solutions in providing insights
- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of the analytics product backlog
- Participate in project meetings and Agile ceremonies for alignment
- Communicate data insights to stakeholders clearly
- Focus on driving strategy alignment through impactful analytics solutions
- Support business leaders in strategic decision-making and goal tracking
- Bridge the gap between business needs and technical execution of analytics projects
- Make informed decisions on project prioritization and feature implementation
- Communicate with executives and teams on data needs and progress updates.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or in a closely related role with a significant focus on analytics projects that support strategic decision-making.
- Analytics Product Ownership Fundamentals: Solid understanding of the product ownership role within an analytics development context, including backlog management, user story creation, and stakeholder management.
- Strategic Alignment: Demonstrated ability to understand and translate overall company strategy into actionable analytics requirements and projects.
- Requirements Definition for Strategic Analytics: Experience in defining clear and concise requirements for analytics solutions that provide insights for strategic planning, such as dashboards, reports, and data analyses focused on key strategic initiatives.
- Data Interpretation & Communication: Ability to understand and communicate the value of data and analytics to support strategic discussions and decision-making with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Management (Executive & Cross-Functional): Experience in communicating effectively with executives and cross-functional teams to gather data needs for strategic planning and provide updates on analytics projects.
- Decision-Making for Strategic Analytics: Ability to contribute to decisions regarding analytics project priorities and feature implementation that directly support strategic planning goals.
- Scrum Framework Knowledge: Good understanding of the Scrum framework and its application to analytics development projects.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate analytics requirements, project status, and insights relevant to strategic planning.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze business problems and identify how data and analytics can provide solutions and support strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
