As a senior product designer on AWS Billing, you will help shape how customers and AI agents collaborate to understand, forecast, and control cloud spend. This role sits where trust, agentic UX, and actionable financial experiences meet, and the patterns you define will influence how other teams approach similar challenges.
Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. is looking for a design leader to guide end-to-end product thinking across conversational, agent-driven, and console interfaces, from early problem framing through launch and iteration.
What you’ll do
- Frame ambiguous problems before solving them, driving clarity when requirements, customers, and feasibility are still undefined.
- Define how AI agents act on customers’ behalf, including what runs autonomously, where humans approve, and how customers regain control.
- Design trust patterns that make an agent’s confidence, reasoning, and attribution visible, so customers understand why actions occur.
- Create human-in-the-loop, approval, and undo patterns for actions that move money.
- Build coherent end-to-end experiences across conversational, agent-driven, and console interfaces.
- Lead design from problem framing through launch, then use data signals to improve what ships.
- Partner early with data science, legal, and policy as co-designers on AI features that involve financial or compliance complexity.
- Establish reusable patterns and standards for how the team operates, and mentor other designers.
- Write narratives and strategy documents that move decisions forward, and present them to senior leadership.
