Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Austin, TX is seeking a Senior Product Designer to own end-to-end design for AMPS experiences, spanning traditional web interfaces and AI-powered conversational experiences.
You will collaborate with product, engineering, business development, and sales to transform procurement, licensing, and partner-management workflows into intuitive experiences. Mentoring and roadmapping are also key parts of the role.
AWS Marketplace and Partner Services (AMPS) is revolutionizing how software and services are discovered, bought, sold, and deployed in the cloud. As the premier digital catalog for AWS, we connect millions of active customers with thousands of independent software vendors (ISVs), enabling them to discover, purchase, deploy, and manage cloud software, while empowering partners to build, scale, and grow their cloud businesses. We drive billions in commerce annually as the critical bridge in one of the world's largest and fastest-growing technology ecosystems.
As our product surfaces expand to include chat-based AI and agentic experiences alongside traditional console workflows, we're looking for a Senior Product Designer who can design across all of them. In this role, you'll own end-to-end design for key AMPS experiences, shaping how customers and partners interact with our platform whether through structured interfaces, conversational AI, or hybrid workflows. You'll lead design strategy, deliver solutions from concept through launch, and influence product direction across a portfolio that impacts how organizations buy and sell software on AWS.
You’ll partner closely with product management, engineering, business development, and sales stakeholders to transform complex procurement, licensing, and partner-management workflows into intuitive experiences, and to give ISV partners elegant tools to manage and grow their businesses on AWS.
You might start your morning reviewing research findings and refining how a complex user journey connects across multiple product surfaces. By midday, you are in a design review with engineering, working through system constraints and AI behavior patterns to ensure the experience builds user trust. In the afternoon, you could be writing a strategy narrative that will align cross-functional partners around a shared design direction, or mentoring a teammate through a tricky interaction problem. Your work balances hands-on craft with strategic influence.
The AMPS UX team is a passionate group of designers and researchers dedicated to raising the bar on marketplace and enterprise B2B experiences. We work across the entire ecosystem, from buyer discovery and procurement to seller operations and partner enablement. Our creative work impacts millions of customers making critical software purchasing decisions and thousands of ISV partners building their businesses on AWS.
