Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc. allowed. Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), standing for full shift.

Millersburg, PA Single-Use manufacturing locations

How Will You Make an Impact?:

Support Millersburg manufacturing by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and setup of equipment.

A Day in the Life:

• Follow all safety and cGMP requirements.
• Perform on-call and after-hours maintenance activities as the need arises.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance (PM) on machines and facility equipment.
• Detect faulty operations, defective material and risk to final product and report those, and any other unusual situations, to accurate supervision.
• Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvement), Lean and Continuous Improvement, and 5S activities.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

• Required: Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production or lab setting or related field.
• Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Stand and move about including reaching, bending, stooping, grasping.
• Use hand tools and equipment including forceful gripping, grasping, pushing, and pulling.
• Infrequently lift and manipulate up to 50 pounds max unassisted.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced controlled cleanroom environment 8 to 12 hours a day, depending on shift, with additional overtime as the need arises for production schedule consistency.
• The cleanroom is a controlled environment for temperature and humidity having low ambient noise.
• Specific gowning is required including gloves, hair & beard net and face cover, safety glasses with no makeup/jewelry, and the like.
• Ability to use PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and understand chemical hygiene.
