Position Overview

Reports To: Shift Supervisor

Summary: Provide maintenance on overhead cranes, mobile equipment, CTL, MBL, Slitter Lines, Banding Lines, and other plant equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance programs for all equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair Automatic Feed CTL, Stamco Slitting lines, Packaging line, Strilich MBL, P&H overhead cranes, and scales.
• Weld, construct, and fabricate as required.
• Design equipment modifications and install limited scope projects.
• Order and monitor spare parts inventory.
• Maintain and repair mobile equipment, forklift trucks, railroad car movers, and other machinery.
• Monitor and repair plant utilities.
• Maintain housekeeping of maintenance storage areas.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of five years of maintenance experience.

Journeyman Card preferred or relevant experience.

Knowledge of Allen-Bradley and Reliance programmable controllers, hydraulics, and pneumatics.

Physical Requirements:

Stand, walk, bend, use hands, and reach continuously. Grip strength of 50 pounds required. Good vision needed for inspection. Constant alertness required.
