Role Summary

As a Sr. Principal System Administrator, you will support critical programs with classified information system capabilities, developing and maintaining secure, cost-efficient environments across various classified programs. Collaboration and guidance are key as you define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions for complex IT infrastructure problems.

Responsibilities

1. Provide IT systems administration in a heterogeneous RedHat Enterprise Linux and Microsoft Windows environment.
2. Troubleshoot technical problems involving hardware and OS integration.
3. Work with cybersecurity professionals to maintain security requirements, documentation, and training.
4. Develop solutions and documentation for technical issues.
5. Obtain necessary certifications (e.g., DoDD 8140 / 8570, Security+) within 6 months of start date.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's degree with 5+ years.
• Active TS/SCI clearance or prior SCI eligibility.
• Experience with Linux systems administration, Red Hat Satellite Server, and leadership roles.
• Preferred: Experience with VMware, Ansible, SIPRnet, and DoD security standards.
• Certifications: Security+ CE or equivalent, with ability to obtain within 3 months.
