Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Electronics Engineer – Hardware/Infrastructure Lead in Rancho Bernardo, CA. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and 8 years of related engineering experience; or a Master’s degree and 6 years; or a PhD and 4 years.
• Experience leading a team and working in IPT/Agile environments.
• Hands-on experience with server, storage, virtualization, and networking in enterprise or defense datacenters.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid cloud architectures.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into hardware/infrastructure designs and acceptance criteria.

Responsabilités

• Provide technical leadership to a cross-functional team of cloud, datacenter, and infrastructure engineers.
• Manage the team’s Jira projects, lead scrums, and plan sprints.
• Maintain breadth across the IT stack: compute, storage, networking, virtualization, containers, observability.
• Coordinate with Product Owner to groom backlog and align deliverables with milestones.
• Create runbooks, design artifacts, and test plans; participate in design reviews.
