About The Role

We are seeking a supply chain professional to provide the leadership to develop supply chain infrastructure (Process, Tools) in support of Ampere’s growing planning network and support the intention to work more closely with affiliates within an integrated process design. We are looking for a leader who can both envision a planning infrastructure that will support S&OP / S&OE, as well as support the transition to this new state.

What you’ll achieve:
  • Vision, Design and Leadership of our Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) infrastructure in support of expanding the capabilities to work with our affiliates and create common language and analysis
  • Analysis of existing system capabilities, driving improvements and innovations, guiding decision making and implementing additional planning modules that support a more effective S&OP and S&OE capability
  • Bridge technical capabilities and business processes, helping to lead the methods necessary to effectively support an S&OP and S&OP processes
  • Create an infrastructure that allows appropriate collaboration with our affiliates while supporting clear legal entity boundaries
  • Work hand in hand with the IT partners to design processes and reporting for Factory Planning within the APS tools (Kinaxis / RapidResponse / Maestro) – dashboards, reports, visualizations in support of complex decision making
About you:
  • MBA or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing or other adjacent fields with 12+ years in Supply Chain, Product Planning, or related work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with Factory Scheduling / Master Scheduling functions, working across multiple geographic locations and multiple factories specifically with APS tools and capabilities such as Rapid/Maestro, Blue Yonder, etc,
  • Experience with APS – providing vision and architectural leadership to support factory loading and output activities – creating and managing models, scenarios and scorecard assessments. Preferred system is Kinaxis RapidResponse / Maestro, but we are also willing to consider other APS experiences. Focus will be on the usage, leveraging and expanding the capabilities of these systems, including gathering of requirements and proposing solutions that prioritize effectively the return on effort.
  • Experience working within the complexities of a semiconductor company including PCBAs, SOCs, multi die packages, test flows, binning and yields, and process variants. Experience should include working with a supply chain that relies upon subcontracted manufacturing support, with a significant focus on Assembly/Test and Platform development
  • Hands‑on experience with planning products, specifically within the realm of S&OP, able to clearly conduct capacity analysis, supply demand matching, scenario design and review, and clear concise recommendations comprehending impacts and risks.
  • Ability to translate operational parameters into business objectives measured in KPI metrics within an APS system.
  • History of articulating complex data into easy‑to‑understand business visualizations.
  • Deep understanding the integrated nature of Process, People and Tools to enable effective work output for any system – and the ability to document and communicate them effectively
  • Strong teamwork / partnership approach to solving business problems is required to execute this work
  • As is expected in an NPI/Engineering environment, there must be a demonstrated ability to tolerate ambiguity, demonstrate an ability to problem solve in high velocity change environment and balance the need to “harden” our processes while maintaining the speed of change needed to respond to ever changing business and technical needs.
