BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst (Perishables) in Marlborough, MA to lead pricing strategy and category performance.

You will partner with Merchandising, Finance, and leadership to deliver actionable insights and pricing decisions that improve profitability and member value. The role blends advanced analytics with strategic execution and requires experience in retail pricing, forecasting, and category financial management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in retail pricing, merchandising analytics, category management, revenue management, or related analytical field.
• Strong understanding of retail pricing principles, margin optimization, forecasting, and category financial management.
• Advanced analytical skills with Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools; familiarity with SAP is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Own pricing strategy and execution for perishables product categories, ensuring alignment with financial and competitive objectives.
• Analyze competitor pricing strategies, promotional activity, and market trends to identify opportunities and risks.
• Develop strategic pricing recommendations that optimize sales, margin, and member value while supporting long-term business objectives.
• Manage category margin performance against forecasts, proactively identifying performance gaps and recommending pricing or promotional levers to achieve plan.
• Lead cross-functional pricing initiatives involving Merchandising, Finance, Planning, Marketing, and Operations.

The Senior Pricing Analyst serves as a trusted business partner to Merchandising, Finance, and leadership, providing actionable insights, influencing pricing decisions, and ensuring category financial performance aligns with company objectives.Key Responsibilities:Own pricing strategy and execution for perishables product categories, ensuring alignment with financial and competitive objectivesAnalyze competitor pricing strategies, promotional activity, and market trends to identify opportunities and risksDevelop strategic pricing recommendations that optimize sales, margin, and member value while supporting long-term business objectivesManage category margin performance against forecasts, proactively identifying performance gaps and recommending pricing or promotional levers to achieve plan.Evaluate financial performance, elasticity, competitive positioning, and pricing effectiveness to support strategic decision-makingPartner closely with Merchandising to develop pricing strategies that support category growth and profitabilityLead cross-functional pricing initiatives involving Merchandising, Finance, Planning, Marketing, and OperationsBalance strategic analysis with timely execution of pricing decisions and ensure pricing accuracyLead complex ad hoc analyses and special projects that support executive decision-making and business prioritiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field2+ years of experience in retail pricing, merchandising analytics, category management, revenue management, or a related analytical fieldDemonstrated experience developing pricing strategies and influencing business decisionsStrong understanding of retail pricing principles, margin optimization, forecasting, and category financial managementAdvanced analytical skills with experience using Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytical tools. Tuesday through Thursday are in-office days at BJ's Club Support Center in Marlborough, MA and Monday and Friday are remote days.In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position.
