Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club is seeking a Pricing Operations Manager to lead the pricing operations, systems, and workflows in a data-driven environment. The role collaborates across merchandising, finance, technology, and analytics to ensure scalable pricing strategies and robust governance.

You will drive the adoption of AI-enabled pricing, build roadmaps, and prioritize tech investments to align with financial objectives and strategic priorities. Hybrid in Marlborough, MA with in-office Tue-Thu.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5–8+ years of related experience in pricing operations or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of pricing operations, systems, and workflows.
• Champion AI and emerging technologies to improve speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to automate pricing execution and reduce manual work.
• Build scalable operational processes to support future growth.
• Manage relationships with external data and technology vendors and oversee contracts.
• Establish KPIs, dashboards, and governance to measure pricing execution.

This role serves as the bridge between merchandising, finance, technology, and analytics to ensure pricing strategies can be executed efficiently, consistently, and at scale.This leader will drive the evolution of pricing systems, processes, and capabilities by identifying opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and advanced technology. The role is responsible for creating a roadmap for pricing operations, prioritizing technology investments, improving testing and modeling capabilities, and ensuring pricing tools and workflows are aligned with the company's financial objectives and strategic priorities.Key Responsibilities:Lead the development and continuous improvement of pricing operations, systems, and workflows to support evolving business strategies.Champion the adoption of AI and emerging technologies to improve speed, accuracy, decision-making, and operational efficiency.Identify opportunities to streamline pricing execution and reduce manual work through automation and AI-enabled solutions while maintaining governance and control.Build scalable operational processes that support future business growth.Support the development and execution of pricing operations roadmaps, helping align process improvements, technology enhancements, and resource planning with evolving business priorities.Manage relationships with external data and technology vendors, including contract oversight, performance monitoring, and service delivery to support business objectives.Evaluate systems and data sources that improve the collection, prioritization, and application of competitive pricing information.Collaborate across teams to prioritize enhancements and deliver operational improvements.Ensure pricing operational capabilities support the organization's evolving pricing strategy and operational targets.Establish KPIs, tracking mechanisms, and operational dashboards to measure pricing execution and operational effectiveness.Develop governance processes that ensure pricing tools, workflows, and systems remain scalable, accurate, and compliant.Measure the business impact of pricing operations initiatives and continuously optimize based on performance outcomes.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree5–8+ years of related experienceThis is a hybrid role.
