R1 RCM is seeking a Power BI and Snowflake Developer to join the Business Intelligence department. This role reports directly to the BI Development Manager. The core responsibility is to develop and enhance our Business Intelligence tools (Power BI & Snowflake) to support operational accountability and organizational growth. The individual will collaborate with other BI Developers in an agile framework, managing technical requirements and ensuring efficient, accurate product development and release, working independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities as a Sr. Power BI Developer:

• Understand current analytics and reporting library focusing on business purpose, model structure, data elements, and visualizations.
• Maintain and develop Snowflake backend SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures.
• Maintain and develop Power BI visualizations.
• Implement Power BI best practices emphasizing maintainability, performance, and accuracy.
• Work with leadership to develop project roadmaps and timelines.
• Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain data integrity.
• Provide regular progress updates to leadership and stakeholders.
• Communicate roadblocks and issues impacting progress.
• Collaborate effectively with team members, maintaining a positive attitude and supporting team initiatives.

Required Skills:

• 3-5 years’ experience managing Power BI development in a business intelligence context.
• Proficiency in Snowflake SQL and Microsoft Power BI technologies.
• Advanced expertise in DAX programming.
• Healthcare industry experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and understanding of quality assurance.
• Effective communication skills for project updates.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.

Compensation for this US-based role ranges from $59,282 to $110,424 annually, with potential participation in an annual bonus plan of 10%. Pay is determined based on role, experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
