Project description

This is an offshore/India-based position:: Microsoft Fabric Power BI Sr Developer. It does not require in-office work, but for KT purposes and relationship-building, the ability to visit the Hyderabad office from time to time would be very nice! The working schedule is flexible if needed, but most of the team works from Noon until 8:30pm IST (or later) so that meetings with US-based counterparts can be attended when needed.

Responsibilities

• - Develop and design comprehensive reports with millions of data points using Power BI.- Guide the team in utilizing the features of Microsoft Fabric when creating new reports.- Perform detailed data analysis and business data reporting to support decision-making processes.- Handle large data sets efficiently and ensure data integrity and accuracy.- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data flow and processing functionality, identifying opportunities for improvement.- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders and create technical designs for proposed solutions.- Research and implement new solutions to enhance business intelligence capabilities.- Act as a subject matter expert on Power BI and Microsoft Fabric, providing training and support to team members.- Ensure the seamless integration of Power BI reports within the broader Microsoft Fabric ecosystem.

SKILLS

Must have

• - Expert Business Intelligence Developer with hands-on experience in Power BI.- 7-10 years of Business Data Analysis experience, particularly in handling large data sets.- Experience with Microsoft Fabric, as Power BI is rebranding into Microsoft Fabric.- Ability to develop reports with millions of data points and guide in utilizing the features of Microsoft Fabric when creating new reports.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and data analysis abilities.- Good communication skills and the ability to liaise between business and technical teams.

Nice to have

- Knowledge of the US Healthcare domain is preferable.- Microsoft Certification such as Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate or Power BI Data Analyst Associate- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.- Acute focus on innovation.
