What you'll be challenged to do:
Gannett Fleming TranSystems Corporation is seeking a Senior Level Planner / Project Manager to join any of the following Texas offices: Austin, Dallas, Houston, Fort Worth.
This person will support transportation planning and program management work, providing direct support to state and municipal clients on the management and delivery of transportation-related projects. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to understand the application of planning and project management principals, is detail-oriented and organized, can support in administrative processes, and navigating technical subject matter related to transportation planning and engineering and/or environmental programs and projects.
A candidate for this position should have strong listening and communication skills with the ability to write materials that relay a clear message. Additionally, we are seeking someone eager to learn, be a team player and possessing a desire to grow in their career. The primary types of projects the candidate will be assigned include federal grant / MPO funding application, freight and rail planning, local government bond program support, preliminary engineering, traffic analysis, and leading tasks or projects involving transportation planning and environmental studies and/or pursuits.
