Responsibilities

Hexagon’s Asset Lifecycle Intelligence division (Hexagon) is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for managing software implementation projects of low and medium complexity from initiation to completion for Hexagon customers under the Services PMO. Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills, be able to think critically, lead and manage teams effectively, and be skilled problem-solvers. Primary focus of the PM is to manage projects to successful conclusion with high customer satisfaction within the project constraints of budget, time, and resources. This full-time position provides a clear career path for talented and high-performing individuals.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage software implementation projects for Hexagon’s various products with budgets ranging from $100k to $1M and beyond.
  2. Manage from 5 – 15 projects, depending on each project’s complexity.
  3. Adhere to Hexagon’s Smart Services Methodology (SSM), which governs process and procedure for project management activities.
  4. Manage and control for each project:
    1. Budget and Actuals
    2. Project plans, schedules, and milestones
    3. Project Deliverables
    4. Project Risk and Issue Management
    5. Project Scope Management
    6. Resource planning and reporting
    7. Weekly and monthly reporting (internal and external)
    8. Customer files: proper storage and retention
    9. Update and maintain Project Management tools
  5. Create and maintain trust and rapport within the project team and with the customer throughout the project.
  6. Practice effective written and verbal communication both internally and externally.
  7. Work with Services and Sales management teams on project escalations and risks.
  8. Complete Project Performance Evaluations on team members.
  9. Maintain billable utilization targets and other key performance indicators.
  10. Achieve referenceable customers through successful project implementations.
  11. Conduct business ethically.
  12. Some international travel could be required for certain projects.
  13. Complete other tasks as assigned.
Education / Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree preferred
  2. PMP (or comparable certification) required
  3. Minimum 5 years of experience managing customer facing projects
  4. Minimum 2 years of experience with software implementations
  5. Experience managing large, complex projects with both business and technical requirements
  6. Firm grasp of software implementation methodologies (waterfall, iterative, Agile)
  7. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite applications required
  8. Experience with project scheduling software required
  9. Experience with organizational change management required
  10. Project management tools and applications, including scheduling software
  11. Fluent in English and nice to have Spanish or French
  12. Ability to travel 10-15% as required
